That did it. Had to remove the old php.ini-dist and php.ini then force a portinstall of php4 again. Once that was done mv'ing the php.ini-dist to php.ini and restarting apache solved it. Can we make sure this is added to the UPDATING file. -----Original Message----- From: owner-freebsd-ports@freebsd.org [mailto:owner-freebsd-ports@freebsd.org] On Behalf Of Frank Mayhar Sent: Saturday, December 04, 2004 4:06 PM To: mario@houseofsites.net Cc: admin@bsdhelp.net; freebsd-ports@freebsd.org Subject: Re: PHP Splittup issues (aka preg_replace missing) Mario Theodoridis wrote: > did you try using the default php.ini file that comes with the new version? Ah, yes, that was one step that I forgot to list. I merged my old php.ini with the new one. That may be what did the trick. -- Frank Mayhar frank@exit.com http://www.exit.com/ Exit Consulting http://www.gpsclock.com/ http://www.exit.com/blog/frank/ _______________________________________________ freebsd-ports@freebsd.org mailing list http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-ports To unsubscribe, send any mail to "freebsd-ports-unsubscribe@freebsd.org"
