Hi Rene, I am running Screen version 3.09.09 (FAU) 25-May-01, and I can't reproduce your problem. On my system screen receives ^[[3~ when [delete] and ^H when [<--] is pressed, with the desired result. Perhaps you can fetch the screen source and see if you can map the keys correctly?
