Not really. Given that hw.usb.dwc_otg.phy_type controls USB phy, not ethernet it shouldn't have any effect on networking. The reason it affects ethernet is probably because this configuration somehow reduces signal interference. I can reproduce the 1Gb problem with Rock64 locally, so I'll try dig deeper into it later this week. -- gonzo
