I'm sending to you a large mail with the port of OpenOffice 641C version to FreeBSD 4.5 With this patch is possible to compile and begin to run the OO641C. But there are some problems: 1) the normal gcc don't work. Neither the ports one. You will need a gcc 2.95.3 compiled normaly and installed in your system to begin to compile OO. 2) There are a lot of problems with some FreeBSD libraries. We have some fixes that make this stuff to work. But we are not certain of this hacks (-; 3) We are asking the people of OpenOffice to make a FreeBSD page with the idea and the fixes to have this stuff working. If we have more people tryng to compile and use OO, more bugs will be fixed. Paniago PS. Excuse-me but english is not my language, sorry (-; (-; PPS. I'm not part of this list. -- Nome: Carlos Fernando Assis Paniago Email: pan@panix.ecof.org.br e pan@cnpm.embrapa.br Web: http://www.panix.ecof.org.br/ e http://www.cnpm.embrapa.br/ -- To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-ports" in the body of the message
