Due to lack of knowledge I experimented with BIOS VT-d settings "Remap Interrupt enable" and "Remap DMA enable". No difference in any combination. Is there anything else I can provide to help narrowing down the problem? Has anybody else ever tried such a VM (using character special file as virtio-blk backend together with a passthru device)? With success? Thanks, -harry
