What other name may it have ? Ah, OK. As you may know the Athlon has gone through a few revisions since being released. Without getting into the numbers, which I don't remember anyway, the CPU die size has been reduced, the L2 cache has been moved on-die with the CPU and the motherboard connector has changed. So by saying Athlon Classic I mean I have the a first revision Athlon. That literally means it's die size is 25 micron, the L2 cache is not on die and it uses the Slot A connector.
