I have an interest in taking GnuCash 1.7.8 for a spin while still running 1.6.8 on "production" machines. Is there a gnucash-devel port under development for 1.7.8? If not, are you looking for a volunteer to prototype one? (If so, I may throw my hat into the ring.)
