My AMD-based PCI adaptor on lnc1 is spewing loads of "Heartbeat error -- SQE test failed" messages because the card was shipped with the SQE test enabled. Has anyone managed to disable the SQE test on HP's AMD PCnet-FAST PCI Ethernet card? If so, I'd love to know how, because I'd really like to sort this out without resorting to a local hack on if_lnc.c . I know Terry Lambert mailed some advice about jumpers on the card. This baby comes with none, and my vendor seems a little lost. :-( Ciao, Sheldon. To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
