Don Humphreys stands accused of saying: > Dear Tech Support, Dear Disturbed, 8) > Everything seemed to install Ok, except I cannot get the "X" system > configuration to recognize my MOUSE. That's ok; these little unfortunates happen to everyone 8) > The mouse driver is located in C:\mouse. MOUSE.EXE AND MOUSE.COM ARE > present in this directory? DOS drivers are totally irrelevant to FreeBSD. It neither knows nor cares about them. > What do I need to do in order to cofigure (install) X Windows in > FREEBSD? This didn't work, nor did /dos/mouse (mountpoint of C: > dos), nor anything else I tried. You need to supply the name of the device that the mouse is connected to. If it's com1 under DOS, it's /dev/cuaa0. Com2 is /dev/cuaa1. > Don Humphreys -- ]] Mike Smith, Software Engineer msmith@atrad.adelaide.edu.au [[ ]] Genesis Software genesis@atrad.adelaide.edu.au [[ ]] High-speed data acquisition and [[ ]] realtime instrument control (ph/fax) +61-8-267-3039 [[ ]] My car has "demand start" - Terry Lambert [[
