Heh, you said something amusing about overgeneralizations. :-) In general, changing $PREFIX as mentioned above, or by adding something like: CONFIGURE_ARGS+= --prefix=/foo/bar/server1 ...if the port uses GNU configure, will work for most ports. -- -Chuck
