From: Robert Felber To: bug-followup@freebsd.org Cc: Subject: Re: ports/89833: port www/firefox 1.5_3,1 fails to build on FreeBSD 5.3 Date: Fri, 2 Dec 2005 14:02:12 +0100 Obviously www/firefox or rather www/mozilla/Makefile.common is missing a correct dependency check on security/nss. LIB_DEPENDS += nss3:${PORTSDIR}/security/nss is not enough, minor version must be checked also. Sitenote: security/nss failed the 'make test'. I've reported this to gnome@freebsd.org I deinstalled & reinstalled it though and firefox build completely through If I'd know how to check the minor version within dependency checks then I'd have supplied a patch. -- Robert Felber (PGP: 896CF30B) Munich, Germany
