Unexplained error messages are the sort of thing that keeps me up at night (yeah, I know, I need to get a life). > An ifconfig line may be configuring that for you (possibly an ifconfig > for lo0). That was my best guess as well. lo0 certainly does get ifconfig'ed prior to the route being added. My question then is why did 2.1R ship like this? Is this happening on everybody's system, and most people just ignore it?
