I've reported this in a problem report on saturday evening (MET).
It has been fixed with sys/i386/i386/sio.c version 1.84.

You can perhaps try to run the startup command (normally run by
slattach) manually, but beware: one of the interim versions of sio was
broken enough to cause an immediate panic at the first outgoing IP
packet (b_t_q not on a clist).
