APIC Id's are 0 and 6. Logical CPUs are contiguous, i.e. 0 and 1 and 6 and 7. If you aren't using ACPI and you have enabled HTT in your BIOS, you now need to use 'options MPTABLE_FORCE_HTT' to enumerate logical CPUs when not using ACPI. >> CPU: Intel(R) Xeon(TM) CPU 2.00GHz (1999.44-MHz 686-class CPU) >> Origin = "GenuineIntel" Id = 0xf27 Stepping = 7 >> >> Features=0xbfebfbff> E,MCA,CMOV,PAT,PSE36,CLFLUSH,DTS,ACPI,MMX,FXSR,SSE,SSE2,SS,HTT,TM,PBE> >> Hyperthreading: 2 logical CPUs >> real memory = 1073217536 (1023 MB) >> avail memory = 1033175040 (985 MB) >> MPTable: < PLACER CRB > >> FreeBSD/SMP: Multiprocessor System Detected: 2 CPUs >> cpu0 (BSP): APIC ID: 0 >> cpu1 (AP): APIC ID: 6 -- John Baldwin <>< http://www.FreeBSD.org/~jhb/ "Power Users Use the Power to Serve!" - http://www.FreeBSD.org/
