No, I'm not running gdm.  I just installed 5.1 on the box, installed
gnome from sysinstall, then ran gnome on the first boot into the new
system.

Broken gnome-terminal was the result.  Any confirmation of this bug
would be appreciated.  We need to make an entry in the errata if
others can repeat this.
