The problem is that the modem is a cell phone (Siemens S25), that I just can't get it to go into auto answer mode (register S0). Is it necessary for the modem to be in auto-answer mode, or is there a way for the computer to answer the call (responding to the RING string comming from the communication port with an ATA command)? Any suggestions would be welcome... thnks, jp -- FCCN - Fundação para a Computação Científica Nacional - Tel: +351-218440100 To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-isp" in the body of the message
