This is what I've tried with mplayer, but I'm not sure if the syntax is correct since I copied for and old reply on freebsd forums: mplayer tv:// -cache 128 -tv driver=v4l2:width=640:height=480:device=/dev/video0 MPlayer SVN-r37862-snapshot-3.8.0 (C) 2000-2016 MPlayer Team Playing tv://.
