https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=203757 Bug ID: 203757 Summary: jam-based ports fail to build when using ports binutils. Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: freebsd-ports-bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: jhibbits@FreeBSD.org Created attachment 162010 --> https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/attachment.cgi?id=162010&action=edit Failure log for argyllcms, which requires a C11 compiler, pulling in ports binutils on non-clang platforms Somewhere devel/jam calls ar with -n, either directly or indirectly. Base ar can handle this, but ports binutils cannot. I think this may be related to the elftoolchain import for head, but can't be sure. Attached the failure log for one port. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
