Sport Aviator-August 2011. From Peter Armstrong’s DynAero MCR 4S Flies:
Peter Armstrong informed the Chapter that after four and a half years of
construction his DynAero MCR 4S aircraft had made its maiden flight the
previous day with Norm Bartlett at the controls. The aircraft now had a
grand total of 37 minutes on the Hobbs. Peter indicated the first flight
had gone very smoothly with Norm only finding a couple of minor issues.
Peter said he hoped Norm would be able to continue with the flight test
program in the coming weeks if the weather continues to hold out. Read:

Title: Flaps control system. Classification: Mandatory. Approval: This SB
has been made mandatory by an AD issued by the French DGAC.
Applicability: MCR Type ULC, UL, Pick Up, Club, M, Mini Cruiser, 4S.
Reason: An incident has occurred on the MCR4S, involving  the flaps
control nut. A lack of maintenance is the cause. A technical enquiry is
in progress. However, These preventive measures, found in §7, are
mandatory. Description: The preventive measures described below aim to:
Define an immediate inspection of the flap control system, Define an OTL
(Operating Time Limit) of the bronze nut, Raise awareness of the MCR
operators of the importance of respecting maintenance manual
instructions.
