It worked fine for me too with 1.4.1. Can anyone test and confirm > this same problem with 1.4.2p5? It works for me in Mozilla 1.5, jdk 1.4.2, 5.1-current of October-something. It crashed at first, but then I spotted a leftover plugin library from jdk 1.3.1. After I removed it, everything worked as expected.
