This is the 366MHz PII with built in ethernet. I've done some searching, and have seen pages like http://www.cse.ucsc.edu/~dkulp/fbsd/laptop.html http://psg.com/~randy/vaio/ http://www.webweaving.org/vaio/ but they either don't mention the make/model, or deal with the TX, which (apparently) works fine with FreeBSD. I'd expect the SX to work fine as well, but thought the built-in ethernet might be a stumbling block. This http://www.mnsinc.com/js/Neomagic.html implies that Linux works OK, so I don't expect problems. I'd just be more comfortable with a confirmed report.
