Does this board have ipmi ? Perhaps you could slurp out some sensor
logs that way ?
e.g on some of my Supermicro boards,
ipmitool -U ADMIN -I lan -H <IP address of IPMI nic> "sel" "list"
also "sensor" and "sdr" will tell you some info like below (SuperMicro
