I use the mail server at work for all my outgoing : mail. Why? Because the machine is lightly loaded and I don't have to : worry about my mail getting lost in the depths of my isp's mail server for : a couple hours .... Amen. For that matter, I'd much rather have my private data on the public wire than on an independently administered server's disk -- make them at least take the trouble to run a sniffer in order to see the data!
