Hackers,
In the flurry of advice about debugging vinum earlier I got a little
confused.
At the moment I appear to be running vinum as a kld, and:
---
# file /modules/vinum.ko
/modules/vinum.ko: ELF 32-bit LSB shared object, Intel 80386, version 1
(FreeBSD), not stripped
---
tells me that the module is built with debugging enabled. Is this
correct?
That being the case, should I be considering actually putting it into
the kernel, or is it OK the way it is?
Thanks for your patience guys.
Regards,
Patrick O'Reilly.
