I haven't yet located the cause but taking out the DS (smart mail host) from sendmail.cf cured the problem for me here temporarily. If there's a mail expert out there who could lend me a helping hand I could show him one of the bounces (which may also have reached the list - don't know if they get filtered though) -- Chris Christoph P.
