Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" Sender: owner-stable@freebsd.org X-Loop: FreeBSD.org Precedence: bulk I sent in the list many message regarding the failure of make world : Now I read the faulty lines and they say like this one : /usr/include/stdio.h:44: sys/types.h: No such file or directory /usr/include/stdio.h:47: sys/cdefs.h: No such file or directory /usr/include/stdio.h:49: machine/ansi.h: No such file or directory but if I do, i.e. locate cdefs.h FreeBSD says : scotty:/usr/src/sys/sys# locate cdefs.h /usr/src/gnu/usr.bin/bc/bcdefs.h /usr/src/sys/i386/boot/dosboot/cdefs.h /usr/src/sys/sys/cdefs.h /usr/src/usr.bin/f2c/pccdefs.h /usr/src/usr.sbin/sendmail/src/cdefs.h /usr/src/usr.sbin/sup/sup/supcdefs.h so cdefs.h is in /usr/src/sys/sys/cdefs.h and not in /sys/sys/cdefs.h Is it a faulty path ? Am I the only person who receive this error ??? Regards... Gianmarco "Unix expert since yesterday" Home page: http://www2.masternet.it/~gmarco Server page: http://www2.masternet.it/
