I note that rather than reuse the efforts that netbsd (who wound up producing gigabytes* of diatribe on the subject of what constitutes a logo / mascot etc, of the highest quality I might add) went to, people seem to be rolling their own once again. I rather suspect that this will end up producing yet another incompatibility between netbsd and freebsd. Can we not just import Net's flamefest instead?
