I have an SMC ez-switch, and twice in 2 or 3 months, one of the hubs, or more like one of the machines on that hub - a freebsd 2.1R suddenly isnt recognized and its packets arent forwarded. It does not have tcp extensions enabled. It was up, I could ping other boxes on its local hub, but not across the switch, and versa vica. What cleared it was moving the daizy chain cable to another port on the switch. (which is now the port I moved it off of last time). Any and all ideas and suggestion are very appreciated!
