Yes, definitely.  I've been working on a huge firewall script which uses
an inbound and outbound pipe and queues specified inbound and outbound
flow.  I backed up an punted from a known good firewall and returned to my
journey.

For the most part, it's automagical and the packet filtering is
reminiscent of /etc/rc.firewall yet all the queues and pipes are set up
automagically by a series of runtime variables.  I plan on publishing it
soon on http://bsdvault.net.
