Hi,

I installed jdk1.1.5 by using the tar file from www.freebsd.org/java. on =
a BSDI machine. When I try to run the javac tool for compilation of a =
simple java file, it complains about the unavailability of the shared =
library ld.so.=20

1. Are there any environment variables to be set on the BSDI machine?=20
2. On Solaris, this shared library is available in /usr/lib usually. Is =
there its counterpart on BSDI?
3. Are there separate jdk's for BSDI and FreeBSD?

Thanks

Regards,
Devadas Patil
