Nothing appears to be broken or slow, but I haven't tested everything (yet). A crude test of samba I/O indicates that samba is now caching (starts out at 3MB/sec and drops to 1.2MB/sec with a 10Mbit Ethernet connection), which didn't happen this morning with STABLE. Behavior is very similar to the same test run on the MS NT4 Server (dual PPro, 256MB, Adaptec 2944UW/ST410800WD,Intel Pro100B). I'm still using the old samba binaries (locally compiled). Thanks!
