Hey everyone! I have  3 questions about the installiation  and setup  of
FreeBsd.

1.I have a Adaptec  scsi 7850 pci hard disk controller which I was told  was
in  the same family as the  Adaptec 2940 wide scsi controller.  The problem
that I have ran into is at boot up or the probing stage the scsi controller,
the scsi cd rom and the scsi hard drive are found but at the installiation it
can not find my hard disk or my scsi cd-rom. Can some one  tell me if this
scsi controller is compatiable with fbsd or if I need to get a driver for it.

2.My next question is about the distribution chose of Freebsd.(I need to
install  the o/s for tws fire wall).

3. Last questions is about any special instruction forinstalltion  of Freebsd
to be setup for a fire wall, such as do I need to setup the freebsd as http
server or what.
