I've also booted 2.2.1 on a SCSI Zip disk. As for adding X, I don't know if you'll have the space for that. Remember you have to partition the 96 MB disk into 2 partitions, one for paging space and another for a filesystem. As for booting, you'll have to figure out how to make a bootable FreeBSD on floppy.
