As far as I know there are no official XFree86 packages at 
ftp.freebsd.org and mirrors anymore. I suggest to build XFree86 from 
sources:

   echo X_WINDOW_SYSTEM=xfree86-4 >> /etc/make.conf
   cd /usr/ports/x11/XFree86-4
   make install clean
