Make freebsd-update process more reversible by using proper boot environments and using ZFS snapshots. May be good to also kind of hook freebsd-update and pkg update/upgrade together when required by user to make whole system updates more transactional. 2) not sure, but OpenBSD's pf got some as I would guess Oracle sponsored SMP work and enhancements. Isn't it a time to sync with it? 3) FreeBSD/KDE user hurting: baloo file indexer service is killing FreeBSD 13 when user directory have more than just few thousands of files (think few git clones of few repos). The service (baloo) crashes a lot on FreeBSD 14 so it's not that hurting experience as it is on FreeBSD 13 where it completely freeze system. See https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=230726 Thanks, Karel
