Ahem, is that an ide-floopy thing?  My 3.3-RELEASE configs for GENERIC
say that the wfd0 driver is there, waiting for me to enable it at the
kernel configuration during boot.  Are you sure you didn't disable wfd0
when booting your installation cdrom?
