I knew I would forget something important.... uname -a: FreeBSD klamath.syndrom23.de 5.2-CURRENT FreeBSD 5.2-CURRENT #62: Sun Apr 18 09:25:35 CEST 2004 =20 root@klamath.syndrom23.de:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/KLAMATH i386 The panic doesn't seem to depend on gif0 being destroyed. I paniced it a minute ago by creating a stf0 device. Destorying the device works as long as it is not marked as up. If it is up. it will panic. After fsck has finished, I will try some more creating/up/down/destroying. -- Andreas --=-Lxx8TNgScCYMTDPmfMBK Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name=signature.asc Content-Description: This is a digitally signed message part -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.4 (FreeBSD) iD8DBQBAgq0FYucd7Ow1ygwRAs3lAJ4x0Gur0dHqMRnjxXiCqNRSluslVQCdHhPQ vZw2zSglNwyDPl4fspH7Izc= =wAQy -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --=-Lxx8TNgScCYMTDPmfMBK--
