Hi. I am using a 3C905 Ethernet Card in a 100MBit network with 2.1.7 on a 486/133. The card works Ok, but delivers very low performance ( only about 500kB/sec) although running in 100MBit mode (according to the hub). Occasionally the driver gives a message /kernel: vx0: Strange connector type in EEPROM: 6 /kernel: vx0: assuming AUI Any suggestions? Thanks, Guido -- Guido von Walter . Suddenly Dilbert is sucked mailto:gvw@brainaid.diginet.de . into the "Boss Zone" where http://brainaid.diginet.de/~gvw. time and logic do not apply
