Sympathy... the learning curve is initially steep, but you'll quickly move to the point where your machine is dancing, especially if you start using tools like Tcl and Expect. There is in fact a BOOK on FreeBSD, available from Walnut Creek (http://www.cdrom.com), with ISBN locator number 1-57176-159-4. It was less than $30, and discounted if you buy a FreeBSD CDROM from them. They also have a FreeBSD DOCS CD which is very useful, and includes the HTML version of the handbook as well as numerous newsgroup threads. If you have fast enough web access, you can access the living version of the Handbook on the Internet at http://www.freebsd.org. -- oooOOO O O O o * * * * * * o ___ _________ _________ ________ _________ _________ ___==_ V_=_=_DW ===--- Don Wilde [don@PartsNow.com] [http://www.PartsNow.com ] /oo0000oo-oo--oo-ooo---ooo-ooo---ooo-ooo--ooo-ooo---ooo-ooo---ooo-oo--oo
