Why not just purchase the O'Reilly versions?  I had heard they were out of
print but they can still be found in many stores.

I do realize they are out of date, how about a new printing with the
latest FreeBSD manpages?  Would O'Reilly do it?  What about Walnut Creek?

I'd buy them. :)
