            Bug ID: 271048
Summary: www/chromium: regression with webcams from version 111
                    to 112
           Product: Ports & Packages
           Version: Latest
          Hardware: Any
                OS: Any
            Status: New
          Severity: Affects Only Me
          Priority: ---
         Component: Individual Port(s)
          Assignee: chromium@FreeBSD.org
          Reporter: trueos@norwegianrockcat.com
             Flags: maintainer-feedback?(chromium@FreeBSD.org)
          Assignee: chromium@FreeBSD.org

It appears that chromium never seems to enable images from the webcam even
though it has been granted permission.

The simplest test is to go to webcamtests.com with Chromium and try to see =
if
the webcam works.

In Chromium versions 111 and likely earlier:
Webcamtests.com works as expected and you get an image from the webcam.

In Chromium versions 112:

The page stays at "Waiting for permission" and never proceeds, although the
light from the webcam turns on and the tab gets a recording symbol, no imag=
e is
shown.

Other applications like firefox and pwcview work, so it seems to be an issue
with Chromium

Tested on:

Working versions:
FreeBSD 13.1-p7: Chromium 111.0.5563.64
FreeBSD 13.2-RC6: Chromium 111.0.5563.147=20

Non-working Versions:
FreeBSD 13.1 and 13.2: Chromium 112.0.5615.121 and Chromium 112.0.5615.165

Unfortunately, I have to use Microsoft Teams and there is an expectation to=
 be
able to see my face, so it would be nice if this would work again.
