The new version of port checks for the Fontmap.GS first and plays with it instead of the Fontmap, if it is present. I can not personally test it right now, so Ilya, please, verify, that the new version works for you. If it does -- please, follow up to this PR. Otherwise -- please, let me know ASAP.
