It's connected via an HP docking station, to a Belkin KVM along with a few other systems (2 Windows XP boxes and a SunBlade 150). The problem is that with ACPI enabled the eject button on the docking station doesn't work. Disabling ACPI makes it work again. I've disabled two ACPI methods: lid: Because the lid is normally shut - I don't want the system going into standby all the time :> thermal: Because sometimes a wild temperature is reported, causing a poweroff. Certainly I doubt the values reported (over 200 C) when this occurs However everything else is left alone. If I can help in diagnosing what needs doing to get the eject button working I'm interested in helping. On a related question - is it possible to tune the ACPI events (as you can under Linux)? I'd like to keep the thermal action, but set it to poweroff on 2 over-temperature events rather than one. It would also be nice to find some way of setting the lid action to disabled when docked. Yeah, I know - not asking for much am I :-) TIA -- Rob | What part of "no" was it you didn't understand? _________________________________________________________________ Express yourself with cool new emoticons http://www.msn.co.uk/specials/myemo
