Take a look at VNC; it's a GPLed pcAnywhere type app... I have the
server running on a couple NT machines at work, while using the client
(viewer) on my Linux/XFree86 system at home...  it's not quite as full
featured as pcAnywhere, yet, but it it simple, easy to use, and
effective.  Go to http://www.uk.research.att.com/vnc/
