we still run NAT with IPFILTER 3.1.2 on FreeBSD 2.1.7/2.1.7.1. The problem
with this NAT is that you need proxies for services suchas ftp.

It appears NATD is much better than NAT in IPFILTER, and is worth the
upgrade to FreeBSD 2.2.2.
