There are two kinds of PCI cards that seem to work and at least one other that haven't been made to work. Assuming the picture on 3Com's webpage is acturate, you may be in luck. There is a large chip which appears to say PLX on it and there are two supported cards with those on them. What you need to try is adding the vendor and device ids to the pci_ids array in src/sys/i386/isa/if_wi.c and building a new kernel.
