I saw this problem once earlier, quite a long time ago actually, it was caused by an array of fixed size being used to gather the local addresses. I suspect you have a huge nuber of IP aliases, if so the quickest hack to alleviate your situation is to increase that size. In portmap/from_local.c increase MAX_LOCAL to an appropriately large value. Alternatively it could be a temporary inconsistency in the sources or your local configuration. -- Adam David
