Feeling the unit, which is very thin, the temperature seems cool to the touch. I've had no problem installing 4.5 on the same unit, nor any problems installing various flavors of linux, and the unit runs for hours without any problem. I also noticed that just before the temp alert, the boot seems to be trying to activate cpu throttling (cpu is a pentium II).
