Is this the stuff from Hosokawa or the stuff in -current?  It makes a
big difference.

I suspect the driver and/or the PC-CARD hooks not doing the correc
thing.  Since this code doesn't exist in -current and I've not reviewed
the patches, I really can't help.  You could try posting to the
'freebsd-mobile' list which Hosokawa is a part of.
