Hi Does anybody know if it's possible to create a RAID1 array on disks with data on them without destroying the data on them? My reason for doing this is that I have to disks that I run in an existing Promise Fasttrack100 RAID1 array, but I want to use the RAID controller in another machine. Then I heard that FreeBSD supports Promise RAID1 arrays in the kernel meaning that I can make RAID1 arrays without using a Promise RAID controller. Any help appriciated. -- Venlig hilsen / Best regards, Jacob Vennervald System Developer Proventum Solutions ApS Tuborg Boulevard 12 2900 Hellerup Denmark Phone: +45 36 94 41 66 Mobile: +45 61 68 58 51
